A weekend for readers, writers and poets in a beautiful setting.
Meet local authors, have your book signed. Listen to poets or read your own work out on our open mic.
Margaret Dickinson - well known Lincolnshire author, book signing `The Brookland Girls` the sequel to her bestseller `The Poppy Girls`. Margaret will also be available for one-to-ones with authors looking for advice.
Avril Ford - our local retired Reverend turned author of crime novels and children's books.
Julian Earl - local vet turned author ‘Cows in Trees’ a warm and witty memoir of his experiences as a vet. His second book, to
be launched at the festival is "The Dog With The Head Transplant"
Rosita Bird - author of Children's stories , The Elf's Secret, My Great-Grandad Was a Soldier and many more...
David Evardson - author of A Donkeyman's Journey - from Latvia to Grimsby
Paul Sutherland - local award winning poet
Jane Keightley - a local travel author, she has had her work published in Italia magazine, Country Walking, the Sunday
Telegraph and the Daily Mail
Literary agents Darley Anderson will also be joining us for the weekend to talk about their work and meet authors and poets to give individual advice.
There will be creative writing, poetry workshops and talks. Our story tellers will bring words to life for all ages and there will be lots of books to buy, old and new.

A short story competition for children and adults will be held in advance with winners announced during the weekend.
he winning stories will be read out and prizes presented during the festival. Hammond House will publish the winning stories in their 2019 WGB anthology.
