Introduction to Silk Painting
Saturday 12th October - 10am - 12pm
On this short introductory course you will make a simple picture or greeting card, learning how to apply specialist paints to silk fabric using an array of water colour techniques with vibrant translucent colours to create an abstract effect.
Silk painting is a relaxing, addictive hobby!
This course is suitable for everyone even if you have never drawn or made anything before.

Silk Painting - Large Pictures
Saturday 16/23/30th November - 10am - 12pm
On this three week course you will design and make a silk picture approximately 50cm x 30cm.
Over the three weeks you will be shown how to draw, outline and paint a picture of your own design, using silk paints and fabric.
Step by Step help and advice will enable you to produce a lovely piece of work and develop all the skills you need to take up this new hobby.
This course is suitable for everyone even if you have never drawn or made anything before.
